We will continue being served communion at the altar railing and the words “The blood of Christ shed for you” will be spoken to each individual as a cup is handed to you. What will change for the communicant is that you will no longer drink wine from a silver cup but from an already-filled disposable cup offered to you by a communion assistant as you kneel at the altar railing. The common cup will continue to be offered.

The date to begin using the new communion cups is July 7th. If you have any questions
or concerns, we invite you to speak with a Worship Committee member, Council
member, Altar Guild Chair Janice Hemmingsen or Pastor Doug.
