You are invited to join us for the first planning meeting to help organize the 2nd Regional Mobile Meals From The Heartland Hunger Fight to be held at the Audubon National Guard Armory in early 2015. We meet on Monday, September 29th, 7:00 p.m. at OSLC. Please use the south entry. In March of 2013 over 620 volunteers of all ages gathered to pack over 115,000 meals after raising $23,553.00! The entire process was an amazing outreach thanks to the support of so many. The previous planning committee included high school students, a vast array of people from area faith communities and businesses, the Army National Guard, farmers, retirees, and others who were interested in helping to feed the hungry in Iowa, the U.S. and throughout the world.
