On December 4th, we will be commissioning additional ministry team participants (Communion Stewards) who will be available in future months to offer the Sacrament of Holy Communion to our long term home bound, to our adults who are temporarily shut-in due to weather challenges or because of short term health related reasons. These men and women will be an extension of the sacramental ministry of OSLC. A sacrament is a visible sign of God’s grace. As Lutherans we celebrate Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. These are gifts our gracious Lord offers to each of us and in turn we are privileged to offer Holy Communion for those who are not able to join us in worship on Sundays when we gather at the Lord’s table for Holy Communion.
If you or someone you know are in need of Home Communion, please contact a Communion Steward or the church office.
