2017 Regional Meals from the Heartland Mobile Hunger Fight

The Audubon Area Ministerial Association has voted to once again begin the process of sponsoring what will be the third Regional Meals From The Heartland Mobile Hunger Fight now scheduled at the Audubon Iowa National Guard Armory for Friday, March 10, 2017. In March of 2013 we hosted the first regional mobile hunger fight which included 622 volunteers of all ages and packed a total of 115,242 meals after raising $25,553. In April of 2015 we hosted the second regional mobile hunger fight which included 660 volunteers of all ages and packed a total of 161,352 meals after raising $32,728. The initial fundraising goal for the 2017 MFTH Mobile Hunger Fight is $30,000. We presently have $13,850 in our MFTH account. Lisa Frederiksen has once again volunteered to be our treasurer. All contributions are tax deductible and can be given to Lisa at the Audubon County Courthouse or to your local Audubon Area Ministerial clergy member. The next MFTH Mobile Hunger  Fight meeting will be held at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church on Monday, January 30th at 6 pm. We appreciate all volunteers to help coordinate the hunger fight! If you have any questions please contact Pastor Doug Opp at 712-563-2625 or Pastor Steven Frock at 712-268-2660.
