Celebrated on the last Sunday in October, Reformation Sunday commemorates the Protestant Reformation as well as Martin Luther, who nailed his 95 Theses to the door of Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, on October 31, 1517, the eve of All Saints’ Day. Join in the recognition of Reformation Sunday by wearing red to worship on October 31st.
All Saints’ Day is November 1st.
We will also celebrate All Saints’ Day on October 31st. On Sunday, October 31st, we will be remembering Brothers and Sisters in Christ who have died in the faith this past year and now rest from their labors with Jesus in paradise.
All Saints’ Day is a celebration of all the whole victorious church in Heaven, who will come with Jesus when he returns (1 Thessalonians 4).
